Laser skin resurfacing to refresh and rejuvenate the skin continues to be an effective and popular treatment. The procedure improves the appearance of sunspots, scarring and wrinkles. Our Atlanta physicians have extensive experience in laser skin resurfacing, and have been practicing the procedure since its introduction in 1995.

During the procedure, a laser is passed over the affected area to cause a bloodless removal of skin. After the procedure, a healing period of 7-10 days is required.
