These three methods can be used in combination to correct sundamage, aging changes and wrinkles, “splotchy” pigmentation from birth control pills or pregnancy, or selected scarring. Superficial chemical peels with glycolic or lactic acid can improve sundamage with practically no loss of time from work. Medium and deep peels provide correction for deeper skin defects. Dermabrasion uses a spinning diamond wheel to remove a scar or wrinkles. The Resurfacing Laser can be used over wide areas for skin rejuvenation or acne scarring.
